What We Believe

  • God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
  • Jesus Christ, God’s Son, died for our sins and rose from the dead to live forever. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
  • The Holy Spirit is given to believers to guide and comfort them. (John 14:16-17)
  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the guide for our faith. (Psalms 119:102; 2 Timothy 3:16)
  • All are in need of salvation, having sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
  • Forgiveness of sins and the promise of Eternal Life are available to all who turn to Christ as Lord and Savior. (John 3:16)
  • Those who trust in Christ should turn away from sin, confess their faith and be baptized. (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)
  • The Church is the Body of Christ on earth and exists to save the lost and to help and train the saved for service to God. (Ephesians 4:1-16)
  • We are commanded to love God first and our neighbor as God has loved us. (Matthew 22:37-39; John 15:12)
  • Jesus Christ is reigning now as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will one day return for those who have accepted Him as Lord and Savior. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
